In the fifth part of our video series “We Design @ SQ1” we summarize the final phase of our Design and Development process, “Manufacturing Transfer”.
During this vital part of closing out your design, we will zero in on ensuring that all the systems necessary to a healthy production launch are full go! This includes the finalization of work instructions, and other documents used in production, along with personnel training and a detailed manufacturing process verification.
Once in production, our focus shifts to quality, cost and delivery by continuously ensuring that our process is repeatable and our products are reliable. This is achieved through the use and regular updating of your product’s manufacturing plan. This plan is a living document intended to provide a product health overview, and will help us to keep your production smooth from the first product to the last!
